Thank you Andy and Matt for organizing a great year of AEE activities. They were also able to push all the paper work through to make us an official chapter of AEE International. They did such a great job that AEE International wants to model other student organizations after our group.

  • 9:00 AM - Meet in parking lot between Mechanical Engineering & Centennial Engineering
  • 9:10 AM - Leave UNM and carpool to Willard, NM
  • 11:00 AM - Arrive at High Lonsome Wind Farm & Begin Tour
  • 12:30 PM - End Tour, continue question & answer
  • 1:00 PM - Return to UNM in Albuquerque
  • 3:00 PM - Arrive back in Albuquerque

Solar Decathelon 2013

The University of New Mexico has been awarded a position to compete in the 2013 Solar Decathelon. Over the next few months students and faculty are going to being building a solar house. See UNM School of Engineering Website for more information.


AEE Project - Measuring Energy Flow in a Building

The intent of the project is to create mobile air flow measurement devices for HVAC duct work. The project will include the design, development, and testing of the measurement devices, as well as the analysis of results derived from the monitoring of a building zone.
